Calculate the number of sheets (i.e. 8 1/2x11, 12x18, etc.) you can cut out of a parent size sheet.


Sheet Grain may be important. Consult your printer for grain direction requirements. Talk with your O-K Paper rep for help with combination/dutch cuts - which yield even more out of the parent size sheet.

Formula:

Parent sheet (w) x Parent sheet (h) = Sheets up on a parent * round down, disregard fractions
Finished size (w) Finished size (h)

How many 4.25 x 5.5 pieces can be cut from a 25 x 38 sheet?
