Graphic Design USA's American Package Design Awards deadline for submissions is Thursday, December 9th. Your entries need to be postmarked by this date or uploaded at the submission site. If your project is printed on any Neenah Paper grade, the entry fee is waived. This is the fastest growing competition for the magazine. Sappi's Printer of the Year Call for Entries is out. Printers, this is your opportunity to be recognized for excellence.  Gold winners are selected in each category and will receive up to $20,000 in design support for the printer's marketing with paper provided by Sappi. And all winning entries - gold, silver or bronze will be included in the Sappi Printer of the Year Online Resource. A database resource to better connect you with designers, print buyers and corporations. Since 1999, this award program has been regarded as a respected accolade for excellence in printing. For your printed material to be eligible, it must be printed predominately on Sappi products between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011. There are ten categories:
